A behaviour-based safety (BBS) programme identifies a site's critical safe behaviours, trains workers and supervisors to conduct non-punitive peer observations, and uses the resulting data to surface at-risk patterns and their underlying barriers. We support the full lifecycle - awareness training with role-plays, train-the-trainer, and steering-committee setup - so observation, feedback and corrective action become a self-sustaining loop owned by the workforce, not the consultant.

Behaviour-based observation that surfaces risk before incidents.

A behaviour-based safety observation program in which trained observers record safe and at-risk behaviours during structured workplace observations, then hold a brief, non-punitive feedback conversation at the point of work. Observation data is trended to reveal recurring at-risk patterns and their root causes, feeding targeted interventions and reinforcing the behaviours that prevent incidents. Designed as a leading-indicator system that builds frontline ownership rather than blame, with simple cards or digital capture and clear reporting to leadership.

Identify and control psychosocial hazards alongside physical ones.

Psychological risk assessment treats psychosocial hazards - fatigue, excessive workload, shift patterns, role conflict, harassment and job insecurity - with the same rigour as physical risk, in line with frameworks such as ISO 45003. We use validated surveys, interviews and workshops to identify and rank these hazards, then recommend organisational controls at job, team and management-system level. In high-hazard settings this matters directly: fatigue and distraction are recognised contributors to serious incidents.
